Abstract: (3660 Views)
The effect of input laser pulse parameters including its temporal profile and length on the efficiency, gain bandwidth and the optimum crystal length, for an optical parametric chirped pulse amplification, is investigated. The results show that the gain bandwidth and efficiency can be maximized by employing pump pulses with flat-top or sech(t) temporal profiles.
