Abstract: (815 Views)
In this article, the optical properties of bulk and monolayer MoS_2 such as dielectric function, refraction index, extinction coefficient, reflection, and birefringence have been calculated using density functional theory. The obtained results show that the optical properties change in passing through bulk to monolayer.
