In this research, nanostructured W-doped MoS2 (MoS2:W) thin films were prepared on glass substrates by spray pyrolysis technique. Structural and Optical properties of films investigated by XRD and Uv-vis spectrophotometer. The XRD analysis indicated the formation of both phases of MoS2 and WS2 in W- doped MoS2 films. The band gap values of the films were obtained in the range of 1.76-2.02 eV and 1.41-1.62 eV, for MoS2 and WS2 phases, respectively.
