Abstract: (884 Views)
In this paper, the third- and fifth-order nonlinear optical susceptibility of a hybrid molecule composed of a semiconductor quantum dot and a spherical plasmonic nanoparticle is studied using the density matrix formalism for a two-level system. The impact of distance between metallic nanoparticle and quantum dot on the nonlinear optical response is shown.
