Abstract:   (975 Views)
Due to the interest towards the development of personalized medicine, accurate differential diagnosis is crucial for optimizing cancer therapy efficiency. In the last decade, optical methods like, using diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS), has been used as a non‐destructive technique for optical characterization of biological tissue and cell samples. Any alteration in cells causes a figure print effect. The aim of this study is to develop a computerized program for extraction of complex refractive index and corresponding electric permittivity from the Vis-NIR reflectance spectra of sample cells as a key biophysical parameter seems to reflect cells’ changes which were tested for discrimination melanoma cancer from normal cells of the skin.
