In the present paper, we have studied the interaction between two two-level atoms with a two-mode coupled field by considering the dipole-dipole interaction between the atoms in the presence of detuning parameters. To find the model solution, at first by applying appropriate canonical transformations, we have transformed the Hamiltonian of the system to a well-known generalized Jaynes-Cummings model one. After obtaining the explicit form of the state vector of the atom-field system, we have evaluated the population inversion and the entanglement between the two atoms and showed that they can be controlled by the atom-atom coupling and detuning parameter.
