Abstract -In this study, TiO2/graphene nanocomposites were deposited on the FTO coated glass substrates in order to make dye-sensitized solar cells. Here various photoanode structures like: TiO2 and TiO2/Graphene nanocomposites were prepared and assembled in the solar cells, aiming to study the electronic properties of the graphene sheets. The results show the 5.92 % efficiency for the cells with TiO2/graphene nanocomposite Photoanodes which is remarkably higher than that of those cells with the bare TiO2 electrodes (3.53%). According to our results, it seems that the two-dimensional structure of the graphene sheets play an effective role in the improvement of cells’ charge transport properties. According to the results, current density and consequently efficiency has enhanced by graphene sheets. The results of this research indicate the potential applications of the graphene for improving the efficiency of third-generation solar cells.
