Characterization of Nonlinear Optical Properties of Polyurethane Close Cell/Alumina Nanocomposites by Z-Scan Method

In this research PUCC/Al2O3 nanocomposites containing 1, 1.5 and 2 wt% Al2O3 have been prepared. Nonlinear optical coefficients of samples such as nonlinear refractive index, n2, and nonlinear absorption coefficient, β, were obtained by Z scan technique. These features were calculated in the order of 10-8 (cm2/W) and 10-5(cm/W), respectively.
