Investigation on ArF laser Effects on Polycarbonate and Polyethylene Terephthalate Polymers

Abstract- In this research, surface changes in Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) and Polycarbonate (PC) polymers due to ArF laser radiation has investigated. The changes has analyzed by Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and Energy-Dispersive X-Ray spectroscope (EDX). The obtained SEM images indicate laser induced conic microstructures in micron scale in irradiated zone of the both polymers.
