Emission enhancement study in Nd3+ doped glasses containing low energy phonon nanocrystals

In this work the synthesizing method of some new Nd3+ doped Glass and Glass-Ceramics have been reported. The effect of host material, crystallization of host medium, persent amount of active ions and the effect of sensitization ions for emission intensity enhancement have been studied. The structural and optical properties of synthesized glassy and glass-ceramics samples have been studied by DTA, XRD and absorption-emission Spectrometry and also the potential application of fabricated Nd3+ doped glass-ceramics were reported.
