Abstract: (4465 Views)
TiO2/Au alloy has been produced by irradiating the equal volumetric ratio mixture of Au and TiO2 nanoparticle suspensions with the second harmonic beam of Nd:YAG pulsed laser at 532 nm. Titanium dioxide and Gold nanoparticles were prepared separately by ablation of a high purity Ti and gold plates in deionized water respectively. The fundamental wavelength of a Nd:YAG laser operating at 1064 nm with pulse width of 7 ns and 5 Hz repetition rate was employed to produce nanoparticles. Results show that irradiation of nanoparticles by 532 nm wavelength laser pulse is a suitable method to produce Au composites alloys
