Dispersionless Slow light photonic crystal waveguide in Honeycomb lattice

In this paper we have studied the slow light properties of photonic crystal waveguide in honeycomb lattice. For this structure, the group index , dispersion and the flat band behavior are calculated through the plane wave expansion method. It is shown that by changing the hole size and the width of the waveguide , the group index , dispersion and behavior flat band can be improved.
