Fabrication of Polymeric integrated blazed volume grating coupler

In this paper fabrication of a holographic blazed grating coupler on polymeric films is presented. This experiment was implemented with 532nm laser with a peak power of 150mw. The volume grating coupler was fabricated using an all optical technique based on cis-trans isomerization property of azo chromophores. After implementation of grating coupler, the measured efficiency of grating was 3.8%.The grating structure was fabricated using interference patterns of two coherent laser beams.
