Abstract- In this paper, we propose a surface plasmon resonance (SPR) biosensor based on the two-dimensional (2D) material Ti3C2Tx MXene. The proposed biosensor is a free space structure using the Kretschmann configuration. This structure consists of BK7 prism, silver (Ag), tungsten disulfide (WS2), graphene, Ti3C2Tx MXene, and the sensing medium. The proposed biosensor is investigated using the numerical method of finite-difference time-domain (FDTD). The numerical results indicate that the sensitivity, the figure of merit (FOM), and detection accuracy (DA) are 186.20 deg/ RIU, 43.40 RIU-1, and 0.233 1/deg, respectively at 633 nm wavelength.
