Abstract: (618 Views)
In this work, fabrication of micro-channels by laser back-writing technique and their characterization is reported. Using a steel metal target and a Nd:YAG laser source (1064 nm) for ablation, micro-channels were fabricated in glass substrates. Laser fluenece was varied between 0.53 to 0.56 with paces of 0.01 J/cm2, and the total number of pulses were 60 and 90. The results show that the laser fluence play a more important role in changing the size and optical absorption distribution of the micro-channels.
