Abstract: (3615 Views)
Polymer nanocomposites have been of huge interest due to their specific chemical and physical properties. Several methods have been utilized to investigate their surface structures. In this paper, we use Microsphere-assisted Mirau digital holography to detect the presence of nanoparticles in the polymer surfaces. The experimental results of 3D imaging and morphology measurement show the capability of the method to investigate polymer nanocomposites, and predicts its potential as an elegant alternative for surface characterization methods such as atomic force microscopy
Keywords: Digital Holography, Microsphere, Mirau interferometer, Nanoparticle, Polymeric Nanocomposites, Surface roughness measurement.
