Abstract- A suspension of Co2SiO4 nano pigment was synthesized by polyol method and it was used for ceramic decoration. The suspensions are stable for several weeks. The advantage of this method is synthesis at low temperature which prevents agglomeration of the particles during heating process. The microstructure of nano pigments was characterized by SEM and it shows particle size about 30-80 nm .The crystal structure of nano pigments was characterized by XRD and it shows they were crystallized and not single-phases and consists of Co2SiO4 and Co3O4. The suspension was coated on the ceramic by spray coating method in a ceramic factory and it was heated in the factory at 1100°C for about 1h. Colorimetric test (CIE -L*a*b*) was performed for the printed ceramic. The value of b* parameter was measured -15.7 indicates this sample is blue. UV-Vis transmission spectrum of the suspension was measured and it confirms the sample is blue.
