A new nano composite containing graphene and polyaniline (PAG) was prepared by dip coting and used as counter electrode (CE) in dye sensitized solar cell (DSSC). The morphology of nano composite was monitored by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) and Raman spectroscopy was used for characterization of the nano composite. The conversion efficiency of the dye-sensitized solar cell with G/polyaniline counter electrode reached to 2.9% which is 25% lower than that of palatine counter electrode (3.9%) under illumination with a solar simulated light of 100 mW/cm2. This result suggested that the G/PANI nano composite can serve as counter electrode in the low-cost DSSCs.
