Abstract:   (2697 Views)

In this paper we study the damped interaction between a -type three-level atom with a quantized single-mode cavity field, where the dynamics of the field is based on the Caldirola-Kanai damping Hamiltonian. The amplitude probabilities of the atom-field entangled state associated with the considered system are explicitly deduced, and the time behavior of a few of its physical properties are investigated. In particular, the effect of the damping parameter on the time evolution of the linear entropy as well as first order squeezing are investigated. It is shown that the degree of entanglement and the nonclassical properties can be tuned via adjusting the damping parameter.
