Abstract: (3283 Views)
Hybridization of materials with different properties in nanostructures has emerged as a new way of realizing improved physical properties. In this paper we report enhanced magneto-optical Kerr effect related to Au/Co/Au trilayer on two dimensional hexagonal closed pack arrays resulted from self-assembly of 794 nm mono-disperse nanospheres on hydrophilic substrate and later thin film deposition by sputtering. Our results show that we have enhanced magneto-optical Kerr effect due to excitation of surface Plasmon resonance of nano corrugated template prepared by nanospheres.
