Abstract: (2584 Views)
Creation of Quantum Householder reflections (QHR) using two tripod atoms in atom-cavity-laser systems is presented. In the present scheme, quantum Householder reflections, is implemented by a two-step Stimulated Raman adiabatic passage with appropriate pulse areas and static phases. This method is robust to small fluctuations in pulse amplitudes and time delay between pulses. Losses due to atomic spontaneous emissions and to cavity decay are efficiently suppressed by employing adiabatic passage technique.
