In this research cross-linked poly (vinyl alcohol)-graphene oxide thin films have been prepared by spin coating method and their optical properties have been investigated by uv-visible spectroscopy. For investigation of wettebillity of prepared thin films contact angle measurement was used. The result of uv-vis spectroscopy shows decrease of optical transmittance of samples with increase of graphene oxide nanofiller consentration. The result of contact angle measurement show increase of hydrophilisity of nanocomposite films than neat polymer matrix. The result of scanning electron microscope confirms formation of graphene oxide.
