Abstract:   (3838 Views)
In this research, cadmium oxide nanoparticles have been prepared by ultrasonic waves and the effect of iron doping on their optical and structural properties have been investigated. X-ray diffraction analysis confirms the formation of cadmium oxide and broadening of peaks in prepared nanoparticles. Absorption spectrum of the as-prepared samples show that the addition of Fe affect on the spectrum and the absorption edge has shifted to the blue region and this is due to the decreasing in nanoparticles sizes and the SEM images confirms the nanometer sized particles. Also SEM images show that the formation of nearly monodispersed ellipsoid like cadmium oxide, without doping, but after doping the shape, size and dispersity of nanostructures were changed.
