Abstract: (5290 Views)
In this paper, by using analytical modeling and detailed numerical simulations, we investigate the input-output transmission regimes in one-dimensional (1D) nonlinear photonic crystal including array defect layers. A coupled-mode system is derived from the Maxwell equations and analyzed for the stationary- transmission regime in the new proposed structure. By management in position and number of defects embedded into a periodic structure we see noticeable changes in transmission curves.
