The superposition of standard coherent states which are π/2 out of phase, were introduced previously. In this article by using the Jaynes-Cummings interaction model, we investigate the interaction of this special superposed states, which have interesting non-classical properties, with a two level atomic system. In this system, the collapse and revival phenomena in temporal evolution of atomic inversion has been seen. On the other hand, the photon statistics of the field has investigated and determined that the photon statistics of the field in this interaction is the Poissonian distribution like the interaction of standard coherent states with a two level atomic system.
