Abstract:   (516 Views)
Solar activity and galactic cosmic rays (GCR) change the behavior of the ionosphere and subsequently the ionospheric. Solar activities include solar radiation, sunspots, solar winds, and magnetic storms. This study investigates the relationship between Kp magnetic storm index and galactic cosmic rays with total ionosphere electron content (TEC), obtained using global GPS data for 2015, 2016 and 2017. Comparing these parameters, it can be seen that the Kp magnetic storm index is directly related to TEC, while it is inversely related to galactic cosmic rays. Comparison of these parameters shows that TEC is directly related to the Kp magnetic storm index and inversely related to galactic cosmic radiation.
