Abstract: (460 Views)
UV-photodetectors are widely applied not only for measurement of UV irradiation of sunlight, but also for air pollution, astronomical, and engine combustion studies. Unsustainable power sources may restrict the utilization of photodetectors, which can be solved by triboelectric nanogenerators, converting mechanical agitation to electricity. In this research, we have applied graphene oxide as the light-sensitive material and the conventional electricity source was replaced by a triboelectric nanogenerator. The obtained results show that the photoresponsivity, as well as quantum efficiency, can be augmented by 75 times, which open new avenues for self-powered photodetectors.
