Abstract: (702 Views)
Abstract- Phase extraction is performed from interference patterns by different methods. Conventional methods such as Fourier and phase-shifting methods cannot be used on a single interference pattern having a small number of fringes without the use of modulation with a carrier spatial frequency. In this paper, the phase of quasi-parallel simulated interference fringes having a large number of fringes, a single fringe, and closed fringes, using the one-dimensional continuous wavelet method and Hilbert transform, is presented. Phase extraction for quasi-parallel fringes, even having a small number of fringes, is easily available with this method.
