Abstract: (477 Views)
Obtaining the final phase image in digital holography or quantitative phase microscopy usually has some difficulties due to high percentage of the noise and the high amount of phase of samples. When the phase difference between sample and its medium is more than 2π, the phase image contains many jump in the points out of the range of inverse tangent that called wrapping problem in phase imaging. Numerous methods have been reported that each of them contains some limitation such as the percentage of the noises. In this paper we present three numerical method for phase unwrapping using simulation in MATLAB. Firstly, we introduce the three methods named reliability method, minimum network flow method and resistance transfer equation method and we compare these methods by simulating on a Gaussian sample with different percentage of the noises.
