In this paper, the dependency of dioptric power of the active medium on pumping power is measured. Based on the measured data two different configurations for the laser resonator of a cavity-domed thin disk laser were designed, optimized and reported; V-shape and I-shape. In the design procedure considerations of an industrial laser resonator are assumed. Results of the designed resonators in miss-alignment sensitivity and M2 factor compared and discussed.
