Abstract: (703 Views)
In the present study, two innovative geometrical parameters have been introduced for modelling and more detailed study of surface roughness in Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) test. These parameters are: the average modulus of surface slope and the modulus of curvature of the peaks-valleys. In order to investigate the applicability of these two parameters, the results obtained from these two parameters were compared with two common parameters obtained from the AFM test results using a case study.
Keywords: AFM analysis, Thin layer, Modulus of curvature of the peaks-valleys, Average modulus of surface slope
