Abstract:   (910 Views)

In this paper, a plasmonic sensor for early detection of Alzheimer's is proposed. The proposed sensor structure is in the form of Kirchmann and is provided by fixing the structural properties of Alzheimer's including amyloid beta (Ab) and tau protein on a grid on the analyte sensor. In this design, a similar finite difference time domain (FDTD) method is used to analyze the results. Important sensor parameters have been calculated to evaluate the Alzheimer's sensor. The sensitivity, competency criteria and quality coefficient calculated for this sensor are refractive index 1200 nm / RIU, 241.66 RIU-1 and 242.83, respectively, which indicates an improvement in the proposed structure compared to the previously proposed early detection Alzheimer's sensors.
