Here, an oscillator power amplifier for the high-power continuous Nd:YAG laser is simulated. The output power of oscillator was 200 W, which is considered as the input power of the amplifier stage. Using the double pass configuration, the output power of the amplifier is increased from 200 to 1558 W. The coefficient efficiency of the amplifier stages for the single-pass and double-pass are achieved to 21and 30 percent, respectively. Furthermore, the optical to optical conversion efficiency is achieved 38 percent. The pump is performed on one side and the cooling is performed on the other side of the slab. By thermal simulation of this structure and using the LASCAD software, optimal results is obtained.
