Abstract: (909 Views)
Nowadays laser beams are widely used in construction of measurement sensors. Coherent and high quality laser beams are used in interferometers to provide extremely useful and efficient tools for measuring various parameters such as mechanical vibrations and thermal stresses. Interferometry is an important method for research in various scientific and technical fields. In this study, with the aim of measuring the dose of an in-contact heat source, a Mach-Zander interferometer was designed and experimentally developed. The temperature profile resulted from the deposited energy by the heat source was obtained with a micrometer resolution in a water cell.
