Cobalt doped Prussian blue (PB) thin films with a thickness of about 300 nm have been coated by electrochemical deposition method on FTO conductive glass substrates. In order to study the surface morphology, electrochromic and optical properties of cobalt doped Prussian blue thin films, FESEM, cyclic voltammetry (CV) and UV / Vis analyzes were used, respectively. KCl electrolyte with a concentration of 0.1 M was used to investigate the electrochromic properties. The results showed that doping of cobalt in the Prussian blue structure did not change its morphology, but cyclic voltammetry and optical transmission measurements showed that doping of cobalt improved the Prussian blue color yield within the visible spectrum.
