Abstract: (913 Views)
In this paper we study coherent population transfer in multi-lambda systems by optimizing stimulated Raman adiabatic passage technique using continuum of composite pulses. In order to design the propagator of the system we use Morris-Shore transformations. Using composite pulse technique the pulse area needed for population transfer is decreased which is a significant point. Finally we investigate pulse amplitude and spontaneous emission on the final fidelity of the desired state for STIRAP and Composite STIRAP techniques.
