Abstract: (1509 Views)
Here, we have investigated the locking of the extended cavity diode laser (ECDL) to an atomic transition line of the Cesium. The implementation of the Dichroic Atomic Vapor Laser Lock (DAVLL) is explained and the obtained results are discussed. In this regard, at first, the considered atomic transition should be obtained by precise adjustment of the laser system. Then by applying the external magnetic field, and using the difference between the absorption profiles of the right and left circularly polarized light, the error signal of the locking process would be obtained. We have compered the obtained results of the Cesium D1 line absorption spectroscopy with other works and the results of the successful DAVLL locking is presented.
