The Fresnel Zone Plate (FZP) as a diffraction optical element (DOE) is widely used in a variety of applications. The biggest problem of them is low efficiency that can be solved by fabrication a multi-level FZP. In this paper, a MLFZP is designed in the MATLAB environment and displayed on an amplitude spatial light modulator (SLM). Then, the intensity distribution of the focused beam is recorded and the effect of the DOE parameters are investigated.
