Abstract: (1582 Views)
In this paper, we investigate the effect of concentration on the linear and nonlinear optical properties of solutions containing fusion acid dyes. Samples were prepared in three concentrations (0.2-0.1-0.05 mM). The luminescence spectrum of the samples was measured by a diode laser at a wavelength of 532 nm as excitation source. The results show that the increase in concentration, lead to increase in absorption coefficient and intensity of luminescence, absorption peak wavelength is constant for all concentrations, but with increasing concentration for the luminescence peak wavelength the red shift occurs. Samples also show nonlinear thermal behavior at all concentrations. The nonlinear refractive index and absorption coefficients of samples have negative sign due to the saturable absorption and self-defocusing effects, respectively.
