Abstract: (1542 Views)
In this paper, using simulation methods, we have introduced a metamaterial sensor, with the unit cell containing two silver bars and two silver slabs, operating in infrared frequency range. Using water between metallic elements, a resonance frequency205.3 THz is calculated, and when a 25 percent glucose solution is used between them, a resonance frequency 201.1THz is obtained. Consequently, the sensitivity of the designed sensor is calculated to be 105TH/RIU (equivalent to 775mm/RIU) which is high compared to the sensitivity of other sensors introduced so far.
