BBO nonlinear crystal properties and measurement of pulse duration of ultra-short laser.

The nonlinear optical properties of BBO for second harmonic generations of femtosecond laser pulses at 800 nm were investigated. The effective nonlinear coefficient, angular acceptance, walk-off angle and effective phase matching conditions have been reported. The crystal has been used for generating of Ti:Sapphire second harmonic and it's pulse duration.
