Abstract: (2405 Views)
Laser ablation in liquid solution is a green method for producing nanoparticles with different characteristics. In this paper, laser ablation process and effective parameters on both of titanium and zinc elements in a distilled water environment at a height of 1 cm from the surface of the metal is investigated. For this purpose, the Nd: YAG laser with a time duration of 10 ns, wavelength of 1064, focal diameter of 200mm is used. The simulation is based on considering the effects of the water environment and the number of laser pulses. The distribution of temperature on the metal surface and the fluence thresholds is determined by finite element method using Comsol Multiphysics Package.
