Abstract: (7399 Views)
In this paper we study the surface absorption of graphene nanoparticles on Rhodamine 6G molecules and electron transfer from dye molecules to Diamond nanoparticles using laser induced fluorescence spectroscopy. Second harmonic of ND:YAG laser with wavelength of 532 nm is used for excitation. Our results indicate that the addition of graphene nanoparticles to Rd6G solutions causes shift of fluorescence pick wavelength of Rd6G to lower wavelengths. We attribute these blue shifts to chemical interactions between graphene nanoparticles and Rd6G molecules.
