Treatment of brain tumor by combination of methods of photodynamic theraphy and magnetic therapy

This paper studies on brain tumor treatment through the combination of Photodynamic Therapy and magnetic field therapy. In this method, the photosensitizers are activated by exposing to the laser beam, which as a consequence, the singlet oxygen (1O2) is  generated. It should be mentioned that singlet oxygen is a factor in the killing of the cancerous cells. Furthermore, in this paper the influences of the addition of a magnetic field are investigated in the process of laser therapy. The results show that the effect of magnetic field with laser irradiation lead to dissolving of more oxygen in human blood. Furthermore, the results of mathematical simulation illustrated that this method is this method is an effective, low-cost, and fast approach in improvement of influence of PDT therapy.
