Abstract- Having combined a Fresnel zone plate and grating, a novel diffractive element is created which is able to produce an array of focal points Focusing behavior of the element is explored, in detail. It is demonstrated that array of equal intensity focal points can be generated by this multi-focusing diffractive lens. We have shown that the distance and the between the points and their locations could be easily manipulated. Besides, the geometry of the array is quite manageable. As well as some experiments were arranged to verify the simulation results.
