A polymeric electro- optic (EO) modulator based on an azo choromohore is fabricated. The polymeric material used, has Tg =200 ' C which is poled with corona poling method. Then a Mach- Zehnder modulator was fabricated using an all optical method with 10um width, 4cm length and 1.4mm spacing between the two arms. Because of the electro- optic effect, introducing the voltage to one arm, leads to modulation of output intensity of Mach- Zehnder. A half wave voltage of V=400V and extinction ratio of 30% at 980 nm laser was observed.
