Abstract: (2874 Views)
Optical parametric chirped pulse amplification has been studied and compared in degenerate and non-degenerate regimes at collinear and non-collinear configurations for various crystals. It is shown that the geometry and the regime of interaction can determine the suitable crystal for optimum amplification. Our results show that maximum amplification gain in degenerate and non-degenerate regimes is obtained by using BBO and LiIO3 crystals, respectively
Keywords: degenerate and non-degenerate, optical parametric amplification, non-linear crystal, linear and non-linear configuration
