Abstract: (3685 Views)
In this paper, we show that photonic crystals containing magneto-optical material layers with a nonlinear defect
layer can discriminate the right-circularly polarized wave and left-circularly polarized wave impinging to the system. In the
other word, the left-circularly polarized wave with particular intensity can transmit from this structure, but the right-circularly
polarized wave can’t transmit from this structure in the same direction. These properties may be utilized to design intensity
dependent unidirectional optical isolator
