In this paper, using the transfer matrix method, we investigate the lasing wavelength and the first mode threshold pump intensity of erbium doped fiber laser with Bragg grating at distances according to the Fibonacci series pattern. Numerical results show that the lasing wavelength is independent of the structure, while the threshold pump intensity decreases with increasing of the number of gain medium layers. In addition, a comparison of the Fibonacci quasi-crystal fiber laser with the regular structure showed that, at shorter gain medium lengths, the first mode threshold pump intensity of the Fibonacci structure is lower than the regular case.
