Fabrication and investigation of absorption properties of materials Cu0.2Ni0.4Zn0.4Fe2O4 and Li0.32Zn0.26Cu0.1Fe2.32O4 doped with carbon nanostructures

In this study, reflection losses of Li0.32Zn0.26Cu0.1Fe2.32O4 and Cu0.2Ni0.4Zn0.4Fe2O4 ferrites doped with carbon nanotubes (CNT) were investigated in the frequency range of 1-20 GHz. In first step the mentioned ferrites were prepared by solid state reaction and thermal shock techniques. Then, with a weight ratios of ferrite and carbon nanotubes of 70 to 30 were placed in an ultrasonic bath. Ferrite grain sizes were characterized by scanning electron microscopy. The experimental results show that the ferrite grain sizes are different and being in the range of 50-70 nm. The waves absorption and reflection losses for the composites were measured using a network analyzer set
